1900 Victorian Pair Ruffled Top Glass Bud Bases withOrnate 3 Leg Bronze Stands

These are beautiful older Victorian style vases dating back to the very early 1900's. They are exceptionally well made and stunning to look at.

Their appearance is spectacular when considering their age. Each vase has a similar hand painted floral design on the front. They are permanently mounted on ornately scrolled tall elegant bronze stands. The glass vases are a lovely shade of soft blue outside, with a darker tone of blue inside. There are wonderful clear ruffles of glass all the way around the tops of each piece.

The flowers are handpainted in shades of pink, blue, yellow, and white with green leaves. Overall, the condition of these 2 pieces is very good. All the metal looks great, and the glass is great except for 2-3 tiny rough spots around the ruffled edge of one vase. These nicks are almost impossible to see, you really have to feel for them.

Photos 6 and 7 are taken of the rough edges on the one vase, and you really can't make out where the mar is. Please view all the photos to appreciate all the details and the condition of the vases. Just the glass vases alone measure 6 and 3/4 in, and the total height of each vase with the stand is 10 and a 1/2 in. Each has a top opening of approximately 4 in, and the 3 gracefully scrolled legs measure 5 and a 1/2 in apart. Combined, the weight s just over 2 pounds.

These are marvelous display pieces which will be admired endlessly and longingly by others. They emit an old world sophisticated aura.
