For your consideration we have a striking Stuart Ableman hand blown iridescent art glass threaded vase. Measuring 5 3/4" in height, this exceptional piece is base signed, "Abelman, 1981. Condition is excellent - no chips, hairlines, or other issues.

A truly beautiful example of Abelmans'craftsmanship! Stuart Abelman, a noted glass artist, became interested in glassblowing during his senior year in college.

After devoting several years to learning the craft, he took a position as head of the glassblowing department at El Camino College in California. In 1977 he resigned and founded Abelman Art Glass. It was here at his glass studio that Stuart began creating his distinctive art glass creations. Abelman Art Glass can be found in numerous prestigious museums, galleries and private collections around the world.
