2 Antique Blue Opalescent & Vaseline Glass Jack in the Pulpit JIP Flower Vases. We have a FANTASTIC life time collection of antique Victorian Art Glass VASES (All matched pairs) from the late 1800's onward. Single vases are wonderful to collect - matched pairs are infinitely harder to find and infinitely more enjoyable to own. We are offering a wonderful "Matched Pair" of Hand Blown blue opalescent & Vaseline glass "Jack in the Pulpit" art glass flower vases. These are absolutely gorgeous with blue over white crimped and ruffled tops fading down to Vaseline glass at their bases. Mold blown with applied bases with a rough pontil. These were most likely produced in the late 1800 time period. A stunning pair that would be welcomed in your advanced Art Glass collection! Treat yourself to something of "Investment Quality" - You will not be disappointed!
These beauties measures 8" tall and about 3-1/2" across the top and 2-1/2 across the base. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story... Guaranteed as to age and condition! Photos are part of the description!
Absolutely NO cracks , chips or breaks or other grievous damage. I will note some minor bubbles or inclusions from how these were produced in a less than perfect working environment.
This piece of ANTIQUE art glass is a solid "9" on a scale of 1 - 10 - not perfect but awfully Minty for its age and utilitarian purpose! Attention: ALL buyers of vintage and antique electrical appliances including lamps, hanging lights, radios, fans, etc. Anything that plugs in or needs to be hard wired. It is YOUR responsibility to inspect all original or re-wired items as to how viable the wiring is for use prior to plugging it in.
