This is a family piece that belonged to my aunt's in-laws. The epergne stands approximately 16.75 inches high when assembled and weighs 3 pounds 4 ounces. It consists of two separate glass pieces: the pedestal bowl and the removable trumpet vase.
It appears to be in very fine antique condition. I can find no chips or cracks. There is scattered wear and loss to the hand-painted enamel and gilding, particularly around exposed edges, consistent with age and use.
The fitting end of the trumpet is intentionally rough and remains hidden when assembled. The piece has only been lightly dusted and may retain some dust or surface residue; I have deliberately avoided intensive cleaning that could damage the decoration. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the description.
The two pieces will be packed separately within the same oversized box with extensive cushioning.
