Antique Pair Of French Ormolu Blue Opaline Glass Vase

For your consideration is a stunning and unique set of French ormolu blue opaline glass vases. They measure 11 1/4" high to the tip of the handles by 6" wide. At first, we thought that the vases were in good condition since no damages were visible; however, when we took them apart for cleaning, se found that the ground tip of the vases are broken. You cannot see the aforementioned damage unless the vases are taken out of the metal frame. Also, one (1) of the original gold cap nuts of the metal piece that supports the vase is missing, so a new silver cap nut was used to keep it tight (hard to see on display because it is located on the back side).
