D'Avesn, who began his employment at Lalique at the age of 14 in 1901 and who created a couple of Rene Lalique's most prized designs, is considered one of the most important French glass artists of his time. Please view images below the description. Offered in this listing is a wonderful signed "Verlys" French Art Deco glass vase in a rich cobalt blue. Decorated with a variety of mermaids and dolphins, as you can see in the many images. In excellent condition, the vase measures about 10 3/4 inches high, 6 3/4 inches across at the widest point, and with a diameter of 3 3/4 inches at the rim. Very slight shelf wear as shown on the image of the base. Possibly slight mold imperfections upon very close inspection, no cracks or chips.SHIPS AT: 9 pounds, expertly packed and fully insured.
