Authentic L C Tiffany Favrile Blue Iridescent Pulled Leaf Lily Pad Glass Vase

Offering an original SIGNED and RARE antique L. Tiffany (Louis Comfort Tiffany, Tiffany Studios) Favrile blue iridescent pulled leaf / lily pad handblown glass vase, of squat baluster form. Etched inscription and signature on the base reads: 5224G L. PROVENANCE: From the estate of Janet Stimson (Shoreline, Washington), the great-granddaughter of the Seattle lumber and real estate tycoon Charles Douglas Stimson (1857 - 1929). Stimson additionally co-founded in 1907 the 380-acre exclusive Highlands community, which includes what is now known as the Seattle Golf & Country Club, and the homes of influential families form across the nation - including the William & Bertha Boeing of the Boeing Company and Donald & Frederick of Frederick & Nelson Department Store. Vase measures approximately 3" H x 4-1/2" Dia. In excellent condition , with an imperfection on the pontil mark that appears original to the piece (smoothed).

Some very light scuffs at base commiserate with age. A small circular indentation/bubble from the pulling process visible on the interior near the base.
