Welcome To The Antique Cabinet. For your consideration is a beautiful signed iridescent LOETZ Blue Cobalt PAPILLON Art Glass Vase, circa early 1900's.
Papillon is a very well documented Loetz décor. The vase which has an unusual body form is executed in a deep cobalt blue color with gold/silvery oil spotting - the colors are electrifying. The vase is properly signed on the pontil with the oval CZECHO-SLOVAKIA mark. 6" tall by 2¾" at widest.It is in excellent antique condition, free of any chips, cracks or repairs and very lite wear. A very nice & unique example of Loetz Art Glass.
