Beautifully Enameled Antique French Aesthetic Period Art Glass Vase Heart Knot

This piece is beautifully hand enameled in a trailing floral pattern with front and back cartouches. The front features a knot work heart laying on its side with two white star flowers and the back has a a white rose like flower, leaves and buds.

Very similar pieces to this were made by different manufacturers including Harrach and Moser, but I'm pretty sure this one is French. The vase has a quatrefoil top and body (meaning 4 lobes) and the dips between the lobes are pretty deep. The body is a lovely soft blue color. One of the interesting things about this piece is the the top section has a wash of pink luster to it which over blue looks purple.

You don't see a lot of this type of luster on glass. The vase measures 5" high, the top is 3" wide across the diagonal, the body is 4" at widest and the base is 2 3/4" diagonally. It has no makers marks. The vase is in Super Condition with no chips, cracks or flea bites. There is a good age related wear pattern to the corners of the feet.

The luster around the top shows some rubbing to it. I have been a collector since I was 12 years old and a Dealer for over 40 years now. I GUARANTEE EVERYTHING I SELL. Just ask before you check out!
