This vase is in excellent chip, crack, stains, scratches or other flaws, - condition. The colors are strong and the color gradient is excellent. Glass is thick, heavy and handblown - a small bubble may be present and is not considered a "flaw" - it is natural. The base is slightly oval in shape and tapers to a more narrow diameter at top (3) - The base shows a pontil mark and is not ground. This piece is not familiar to me but there is a lot of information online - The following is just my impression from what I read and looked at.
It seems that the slightly oval shape at base and taper was more prevalent in 1990s production - Color depth seems stronger in the 1990s era -Ribs on exterior seem deeper and more defined - Lack of markings seem common - Base is generally not ground. There are many who know a lot more than I do regarding Blenko, Trey Gott and this particular piece. Feel free to send additional information if desired.
