PLEASE NOTE AMENDED DESCRIPTION AS A VETERAN COLLECTOR HAS INFORMED ME OF HIS BELIEF THAT THIS IS L. SMITH GLASS AND NOT VIKING. I FOUND IT BEING OFFERED AS BOTH IN PAST SALES AND THANK THE COLLECTOR FOR EXPERIENCED CLARIFICATION AS TO THE MAKER AS I SOLICITED COLLECTOR INPUT FOR THIS LISTING WHEN I MADE THE TENTATIVE IDENTIFICATION AS VIKING. My camera seems to just miss the true shade but its very turquoise / teal and not sapphire. No chips or cracks and its very clean. Maybe a small scuff or faint scratch here or there if you study it like a scientist for extreme accuracy. There is a factory swirl line or glass straw mark in the heavy base glass but that's common to large pressed glass pieces and not damage or distracting. My research revealed that it is a Mid- Century modern style product of the L. E Smith or possibly Viking Glass Company and likely dates from the mid to late 1960's I will amend any information if correction or clarification is offered by more experienced collectors.
