Bruce Freund gorgeous blue/purple iridescent art glass vasesignedpristine

This item is a vase made by Bruce Freund. It features a gorgeous blue to purple iridescent glass reminiscent of Tiffany and other great makers. The vase has classic curved shape with pinched neck and flaring rim. It stands 8 1/8" tall, and is 4" wide across the rim. The vase is marked with a script diamond needlepoint mark reading. Bruce Freund received his B. Degree in ceramics from University of California, Irvine and went on to earn a Masters Degree in Glass and a teaching credential from California State University, Fullerton. He has also attended the Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, WA and the Pratt Arts and Crafts School. He has worked with great masters like William Morris, Loredano and Dino Rosin, Fritz Driesback, Richard Royal, Richard Marquis, Sonja Bloomdahl, and Lino Tagliapietra, among others. He has won a string of awards for his work primarily from shows he has participated in.

Freund has made commissioned pieces for many celebrities from the entertainment world. A few of these include Cher, Barbara Streisand, Elizabeth Taylor, Cher, and Tommy Chong (of Cheech and Chong).
