For sale is this beautiful antique Victorian Blue Pearline Molded Glass F. War of the Roses by George Davidson & Co. George Davidson & Co Team Glass Works was founded in 1867 and soon became one of the most famous and prolific manufacturers of press-moulded glass in Britain. In 1889, Davidson introduced one of their most popular and successful coloring lines they called "Pearline". It was made in only 2 colors, blue, and lemon yellow, each with a white edge.
This rare flower trough is marked RD 212684 which is the registered design date of 1893. The flower trough measures 19 cm's (7 1/2 inches) in length, 7.5 cm's (3 inches) high, 5.5 cm's (2 1/8 inches) wide and weighs 270 grams (9 1/2 ounces).
