The vase is adorned with asymmetrical stripes that have been created using the traditional filigree technique. The simple shape of the vase is reminiscent of a flower bulb. Kristine Five Melvaer is an Oslo-based, award-winning designer who has graduated from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design with a degree in industrial design as well as the Oslo National Academy of the Arts with a degree in visual communication.
