Lalique Filicaria Pillow Vase in Klein Blue French Crystal. We call it a pillow vase because it is shaped like a pillow. The vase has a small opening up top designed to restrain a small bouquet of flowers. Dimensions: Height 4 3/8", Width 4 ¾", Depth 2 3/8. Designed by Marie Claude Lalique in 1990 and now retired. The vase displays an attractive raised pattern of ferns rising from the base of the piece. The radiance and intensity of Klein blue crystal illuminate this work of art.

Lalique developed the special formula for this remarkable color with copper and cobalt oxides in proportions that remain a well guarded secret. The result is this gorgeous deep rich blue colored lead crystal. It absorbs light and displays beautifully.

Signed on the bottom edge with the etched "Lalique ® France" Guaranteed authentic. Handcrafted in Lalique's Alsace France workshops by skilled artisans. Mint condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or other visible damage. Comes with the Lalique fitted box.
