Murano Sommerso Barbini Mid-century Art Glass Bookends, Controlled Bubbles
This listing is for a STUNNING pair of Mid-Century Murano Sommerso Art Glass figural apple and pear bookends by Alfredo Barbini. These gorgeous bookends have a rich ruby/amethyst interior cased within thick vibrant blue glass with controlled bubbles throughout with applied clear glass leaves. Each piece i s in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or noted damage. These high quality art glass bookends do not have their original Barbini, Murano Italy labels, however, we have had another set with original labels so we are sure of this attribution.
Apple measures 4 1/2" high and 5 5/8" in diameter. Pear measures 7 1/4" high and 4" wide. Combined weight is 5.0 pounds.
