Offered is a rare matching pair of beehive vases made ca 1930 by the Durand Art Glass company of New Jersey. Founded in 1924 by Victor Durand, Jr, the company is best known for irridescent glass inspired by Tiffany's Favrille and Steuben's Aurene lines. Many of their glass makers came from the Quezal Art Glass company which closed in 1924. Durand ceased operation in 1931. The vases are 5 high and 4 inches wide.
