29 Empire Vase from the Masterworks collection, entirely mouth blow. Pilgrim Glass was made in Ceredo West Virginia founded by Alfred Knobler in 1949 and in 1950s He brought Roberto Morretti and his brother Alessandro skilled glass workers from Italy to work and design product.
In 1987 Kelsey Murphy and Bob Bomkamp joined Pilgrim producing a line of cameo art glass. The vase measures about 29 tall, 8 at the base 9-¼ at the top and about 14 to 15-½ across the widest. It has the typical characteristics of blown glass with a few waves. And bubbles scattered throughout but nothing unusual for a entirely mouth-blown piece. This was on display and has a few small light scratch's that I could find it is hard to see without a bright light or sunlight.
