Rare, Early Decorated Blue Aurene Vase Model #750 is the only documented example of this shape/catalog number (even Carder site has no example in any color). Looks like the day it was made with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Super decor w/deep, even color.
Super clean in-the-making with no surprises. Glass is deep amber, consistent with Steuben's blue aurene batch formula the first 3 years of production. Opal was the Lillian Nassau of the Midwest, and if you already knew this, or knew her, you're officially really old. The MET has Tiffany & other pieces she brought to market.
She had a great antique shop in Kokomo that specialized in Tiffany & other high-end decorative arts. She had her own custom shop inventory/price tags, and pieces used to/still show up at the big auctions with her labels still affixed, but I haven't seen one for many years. We have 100% perfect feedback.
