Seguso Murano Art Glass Pale Blue'Scavo' Vase Applied Prunts 10 X 7 C-1960's

This listing is for fine Murano'Scavo' studio art glass vase by Seguso. It features a wide mouth, a narrowed neck and a round body. The most distinctive feature is the three decorative elements on the sides, which resemble stylized animal heads or masks. It is pale blue in color with subtle variations and frosted white inclusions, a technique where the vase is rolled in ashes and salts while semi molten to create the look of excavated Roman glass from around the 5th century AD.
